Application of general sales term
The general conditions of sale described below (defined as “general conditions” in what follows) govern the contractual relations between users of the site shop.roccalabottarga.com and the company Mediterranea Conserve Alimentari srl with headquarters at Zona Industriale Pill e Matta Quartucciu, Cagliari (Italy), VAT No. 13130551008 and registered with the Chamber of Commerce of Cagliari (defined as “Mediterranea Conserve Alimentari srl” in what follows).
These general terms and conditions are the only ones applicable and replace all other sales term, unless expressly and in writing excepted in advance. Mediterranea Conserve Alimentari srl may sometimes find it necessary to alter any provisions of the Sales Terms; therefore, we invite customers to consult them before each visit the website www.roccalabottarga.com
The validation of the order means the tacit reading and acceptance of the general conditions present at that time on the website.
Mediterranea Conserve Alimentari srl reserves the right to reject any type of clause and/or document attached to the customer’s order that is in opposition to and/or adds a new element to the general conditions.
To order
The catalog is organized by type of merchandise and format followed by item tab through the internal search engine, products discount and, in general by links to categories or individual articles on the website.
Once the product has been identified, it is possible to add it to the cart by specifying the desired quantity.
From the cart you can change the quantities, remove items already present, proceed to fill out the order form by clicking on the GO TO CASH button or continue shopping.
The articles on shop.roccalabottarga.com are in general immediately available.
However, it is possible that simultaneous purchases of the same products by different customers will occur, immediately changing the availability, which may then no longer be immediate.
Order cancellation
Buyer’s (reseller’s) order constitutes definite proposal of purchase. The order may be cancelled within 24 h after order confirmation.
VAT and value
All prices are inclusive of VAT and expressed in Euro.
Mediterranea Conserve Alimentari srl will apply the VAT rates provided for by Presidential Decree 633/72 with the relevant exceptions relating to sales to persons residing in or outside the European Union.
From 01/07/2021, VAT related to intra-EU supplies to final consumers is territorially relevant in the country of final destination and therefore subject to the special OSS-EU regime.

Goods always travel accompanied by an order summary (DDT).
Mediterranea Conserve Alimentari srl also sends an invoice via e-mail in PDF format when the order is processed. For customers based in Italy, the tax document (electronic invoice) will be available at the customer’s e-mail address or their reserved area of the Revenue Agency.
Customers are therefore invited to fill in the fields provided for its correct reception (PEC and/or SDI Recipient Code).
Fiscal documentation for customers
Goods always travel accompanied by an order summary (DDT). In accordance with art. 2, paragraph 1 of Presidential Decree 696/96 (exemption from the obligation to issue a tax document for mail order sales), Mediterranea Conserve Alimentari Ltd. will issue an invoice upon the customer’s request. The request must be made when placing the order by selecting the dedicated flag.
Shipping and delivery
Your order will be processed and delivered to the courier within 24/72 hours from the email confirmation of payment, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). All orders placed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be handled by the following Monday morning. In case of holidays, the first available working day.
We would like to inform you that during certain times of the year, such as during the Christmas season or special campaigns, the timing may vary.
Shipping has a cost of € 7.90. Delivery will take approximately 3 to 5 working days and 6 to 8 working days for European Union and rest of the world. Free shipping for all orders over €150.00 with shipping to Italy.
Please check that the shipping address is correct: it is not possible to change it once the order is completed, except by contacting the courier. You will receive an order shipping confirmation email containing your “tracking number” to track the status of your shipment.
Payment
Mediterranea Conserve Alimentari Ltd. accepts worldwide payments using PayPal and most popular credit/debit cards.
There are no minimum order quantities .

Order form
In the order form (differentiated for private and business/professional customers) you must enter the buyer and consignee (if different) details of the goods you intend to order. Correctly filling in the fields will allow us to process your order more quickly and enable faster delivery.
Delivery to P.O. Boxes and Post Office Holders is not permitted.
Registered users who log in will find the form pre-filled and will automatically take advantage of any discounts reserved for them on items in the cart.
In addition to the personal informations, it is possible to request an invoice and choose the shipping method (where available).
After filling in the data you will see the order summary showing the goods purchased, partial and total amounts and shipping costs.
If the data are correct you can proceed to payment by choosing from the methods provided. In the e- mail box you specify you will receive notification of order submission and all the next progress.
If payment is made by credit card, ownership of the purchased products is transferred to the customer at the time of the transaction.
Mediterranea Conserve Alimentari assumes responsibility for shipping until delivery.
Orders received on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be processed the next Monday. Orders received on holidays will be processed on the first available weekday
Assistance
Mediterranea Conserve Alimentari Ltd. does not sell products that are used, irregular, with defects in materials or of lower quality than the corresponding standards available on the market. The essential characteristics of the products are presented within each item sheet. However, the images and colors of the products offered for sale may not correspond to the real ones due to the effect of the Internet browser and monitor used.
In the case of food products, should they be changed in their essential characteristics or inedible, any breakage, Mediterranea Conserve Alimentari Ltd. nevertheless undertakes to replace the goods with a new supply at its own expense within and no later than 14 days (fourteen days) from the date of delivery.
Defects due to accident, misuse, alterations or unauthorized repairs are excluded from the warranty.
Online payments take place at the same time as the conclusion of the order transaction and in a protected and secure guaranteeing privacy on the transmission of credit card information, which therefore cannot be viewed by other users on the network.
For customers not resident in countries belonging to the Euro area, the amount of the order will be automatically converted by the bank supporting the credit card into Euro.
Return items
You may ask for an exchange or return for any product within 14 days from the date of delivery. Before claiming the return of a product, make sure that the items are in the same condition in which you received them: with label and identifying sigil. In case only one of these items is missing, the return will not be accepted.
